Villa have the edge in my reckoning but have problems in the scoring department. Delfouneso has a great opportunity to make his way into the first team on a regular basis and didn't look out of place against Fulham but missed a couple of chances to seal victory for the mid-landers. Blackpool are the surprise team of the promotion brigade and have a very good record on the road this season but I will again lay them as insurance against one of those 0-0 happening for a record third occasion at Villa Park.

A close call in the end but Villa take the points and its full steam ahead for the Man Utd visit on Saturday. Blackpool put up a spirited performance again and have a premiership squad after so many changes to the line-up from their previous game and still put in a great performance away from home. Final score 3-2.
