Where did it all go wrong?
Sad to see that JP has decide to call it a day on his blog. He is really honest in his assessment of the situation that he faced and sadly after making the decision to go fulltime at covering a portfolio of tipsters he has found the cards dealt against him. This should be a lesson to us all!
The most disturbing aspect for me is how people are submitting comments claiming how well they are doing!
His blog laid out exactly how this aspect of gambling should be done and despite his best efforts and professional approach it failed to produce an end product satisfactory to his needs.
End of!
The past twelve months have been the most trying to me and despite my best efforts there seems no bottoming out in this poor run of form. Like JP I leave the bullshit to others.

  1. I fully undersatand your postion and give much credit for your honesty...it is a tough period. I reside in the States and the racing can best be described as confusing at times, strange results and quite unpredictable. This is the reason that I have switched my daily betting format to two Daily Specials whereby, I believe I have an edge as the less races that I get involved with the better my long-term position. It's a work in progress.

I enjoyed your blog and wish you nothing but good will. Sincerely JM

  2. Well thankyou JM for your comment there is little future in telling 'truths' that don't exist. Despite people being easily influenced it is difficult to see how we all could ignore why JP had to close his portfolio. I'm sure he has/will proffer better explainations for his betting banks demise but at the end of the day the elements that made up his portfolio failed him.
I rarely bet as I did in the past now but have become obsessed with trading on Betfair but that has its pitfalls too and lack of discpline proves to be a punishing experience.
